Anemone 'Honorine Jobert' has been selected by the PPA membership as the 2016 perennial plant of the year. This tall, elegant, woody based perennial has dazzling white flowers. Refined Japonese Anemone cultivar produces a dazzling display of 2" white, pink tinged flowers adorned by frilly yellow stamens and with charteruse centers. Fast growing and will thrive in full sun or partial shade in moist humus - rich soil. The typical zones 4 thru 8.

Common Name: Cranesbill
Blooms in Late Spring. When the flower opens the lightly tinged pink flowers provide a wonderful contrast to the sepals and stamens.
The aromatic foliage has rounded leaf edges, is a medium green color and is semi-evergreen in most climates.
This geranium is a spreading, rhizomatous plant, meaning it spreads by sending out runners.
Best planted as a grond cover or in the front of the garden border. it also does well in rock gardens.
